Hi there! I'm Rebekah and creating functional and beautiful spaces is my passion! I am obsessed with "before" and "afters". It brings me joy to know my homeowners are enjoying their space after the project is completed. Thoughtful interior design makes a space "feel" more like home through beauty and functionality. Most importantly perhaps (after all, form follows function), thoughtful interior design allows a home function the way it should, providing ease and enjoyment to its owner. If you would like professional advice and assistance decorating and designing a space in your home, I'd be happy to help take the overwhelm out of making decisions regarding color and finishes and create a functional floor plan that works best for your space.

How does hiring me work? I am available for virtual as well as in-person consultations. I take the time to listen, to get to know your family, your likes and dislikes of your current space, and work hard to help guide you towards your dream of a beautiful, functional room. If you just have a few questions that you'd like professional guidance on, a 1-hour consultation might very well suffice! Whether you're looking for full-service design, where I create a breathtaking space along with you that suits your lifestyle needs, or if you'd like to complete part of the project yourself and consult me at different stages to guide in making appropriate decisions, I have experience with it all and am happy to assist you.

A little bit about me: I graduated from TN Technological University in 2007 with a degree in Housing and Design. I worked full-time in the industry for a few years until we began having children (my husband and I have three sweeties that are all school-aged and are growing up fast!). I then worked part-time designing spaces as well as in online marketing for a large plant nursery in Nashville. I am knowledgeable in landscape design and am an avid gardener. I am originally from Nashville, and yes, I own several pairs of cowboy boots but, alas, no cowboy hat and you wouldn't ever want to see me on a horse (!).

Three years ago, my husband and I purchased a beautiful mid-century colonial-style home that we are in the midst of renovating portions of. I am sharing parts of our journey as well as other design projects for clients on my Instagram page. I'd love for you to follow along! Our area of East Tennessee has many homes that were built in the middle of the last century. I love these well-built homes that are often full of character. When working in one of these homes, my desire is to help you update while also honoring the home's character, giving you a truly unique space that has been personally, beautifully designed specifically with your family and home in mind. I also have ample experience working on new builds. I love to be apart of the beginning stages and create a cohesive look throughout a new build for my clients. I am currently accepting new clients and would love for you to reach out.
